ROMPaq driver for Compaq Presario 923AP Type: BIOS DESCRIPTION:This SoftPaq creates a ROMPaq firmware diskette that can be used to locally restore or upgrade the System BIOS.­ FIXES: - Fixes cardbus performance issue.­ IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE! HOW TO USE: 1.­ Download the SoftPaq to a temporary,­ empty directory on your hard drive.­ The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number.­ 2.­ From that drive and directory,­ execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to create a bootable ROMPaq diskette.­ 3.­ Restart the notebook,­ allowing it to boot from the ROMPaq diskette.­ Follow the on-screen instructions to update the System BIOS.­ 4.­ After upgrading to the new BIOS,­ you may delete all temporary files and the SoftPaq file downloaded in step 1.­
